Why alarms without context are a problem
Vegetation, shadows, rain, animals and changes in light generate alerts that require no action. The more noise there is, the greater the risk that an important event loses priority and that the team starts ignoring alerts altogether.
How AI helps
Models identify the object’s class, position, direction and dwell time. Instead of “motion detected”, the operation works with useful rules, such as “person entered the restricted area after hours”.
The camera still matters
AI cannot fix an unusable image. Angle, focus, lighting, resolution and obstructions remain essential to the quality of the analysis.
